HR Director: Full Time Exempt – Leadership Role
Human Resources Director

Position Type: Full Time Exempt - Leadership Role Department/Area: It is expected of every Renys employee to be willing to step into any role/job at any time as needed, regardless of job description.Position Summary: This is a senior, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to ownership. The HR Director will build scalable HR systems, oversee compliance and risk management, lead employee relations, and strengthen training, benefits, and talent practices across all locations. Essential Functions:
- Lead HR strategy for a 600-employee, multi-site organization

- Manage benefits and partner closely with payroll

Minimum Requirements:

- A strong communicator who leads with integrity, fairness, and confidentiality.

Accounts Payable Clerk– Full Time
Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Reny’s Office and Distribution Center, Newcastle, ME
Position Type: Full Time Department/Area: It is expected of every Renys employee to be willing to step into any role/job at any time as needed, regardless of job description.Position Summary: The Accounts payable clerk is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
- Facilitate payment of vendors, which may include reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.li>
- Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
- Handles problems efficiently and professionally
- Handles customer communication with tact and professionalism
- Provide support, assisting with any special projects as needed
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for Accounts Payable as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Work independently but also as part of the Payable team and in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and related software.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to multitask

Education and Experience:

Front Office Assistant – Full Time
Front Office Assistant
Location: Reny’s Office and Distribution Center, Newcastle, ME
Position Type: Full Time – 40 hours per week Department/Area: It is expected of every Renys employee to be willing to step into any role/job at any time as needed, regardless of job description.Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
- Order Entry for Purchase Orders including new item creation and re-order item maintenance.
- Order Entry for Re-orders
- Processing of inventory in POS system for incoming deliveries.
- Store replenishment.
- General POS Maintenance - such as retail changes, store to store transfers, size up data entry, UPC entry, end of season item maintenance, etc
- Typing and Distribution of Communications to Stores —for example: Retail Changes, Return Notice, Size up, etc.

- Assist Warehouse with Purchase Order questions and maintenance.

Position Summary:
It is expected of every Renys employee to be willing to step into any role/job at any time as needed, regardless of job description. Primarily responsible for supporting the store manager in the daily operations of a store with heavy focus on superior customer satisfaction and employee mentoring.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure that every decision is based on the customer being a priority.
- Perform manager's duties in the absence of the manager.
- Supervise and motivate hourly employees in the store.
- Ensure that all employees properly serve each customer that comes into the store.
- Assist in the proper and timely processing of freight.
- Provide the store manager with feedback on employee performance.
- Handle writing weekly staff schedule, shift changes among cashiers and departments.
- Ensure that all daily notices have been completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure the compliance of company safety standards.
- Execute the daily directives of the store manager.
- Document and report employee and customer accidents to the main office immediately.
Other Functions: Assist manager in boosting employee morale. Keep proper documentation on any employee concerns. Take part in the hiring and termination process. Take part in the set up and training of new store openings.
Minimum Requirements: The candidate must be personable, customer service oriented and a team player. The candidate should be able to work as a team leader and have above average people skills. A positive approach to employee motivaion and strong verbal communications skills are required.
Reporting Relationship: Position reports to the store manager.
Working Conditions: Constant customer and employee interaction, merchandising techniques, and strong leadership, working along side employees; on your feet a minimum of 5 days expected per week during company operating hours, 5 1/2 to 6 days during Early Bird week and between Thanksgiving week and Christmas. Some travel will be required.
Success Factors: Consistent positive personality , dependable nature, willingness to do whatever is needed each day. Must have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to the ever-changing retail workplace. Desire to maintain a fun working environment that is also efficient and profitable.
